Museo delle Moto Guzzi

The museum is based on a project by Elio Brunelli, an enthusiastic collector of Moto Guzzi motorcycles and former President of the National Commission for ASI Motorcycling Events. The museum covers a total of 650m², entirely dedicated to Moto Guzzi bikes built between 1930 and 1970, all of which have been carefully restored and ASI approved. It also houses another 50 bikes, displayed in a room that also has a section dedicated to the history of Lambretta and Ducati, as well as the Moto Guzzi motorcycles that have served the state in various military bodies and corps. The exhibition layout includes a large library and a selection of advertising items and accessories linked to the world of historical motorcycling. The museum not only offers the opportunity to take a journey through the history of motorcycling, but is also a delightful step back in time to discover the traditions of this small town in Romagna. In fact, in the exhibition rooms the historical local activities of the Brunelli family have been recreated like Osteria della Cumona, run by Elio Brunelli’s great-grandmother, the “Brunelli Giuseppe” company, owned by the exporter of fruit and vegetables known as “Fafetta”, “Bunaza” Esso petrol station and the restaurants in East Africa owned by the Valbonesi family (the Cumona).
