“A Casa di Paola” art workshop

“A Casa di Paola” is a unique and versatile space that harks back to times gone by. It is an art venue, but also a gallery and old-fashioned workshop. Dedicated to the search for beauty, this space also hosts exhibitions by contemporary artists and interesting displays of artefacts from the past. The shop sells fabrics, accessories and retro pieces.

On the adjacent corner, on Via Oberdan 5, a painting, sewing and lace-making workshop has been set up and is where people who love creating unique and original items by hand can come together. It offers an opportunity to reinvent an old piece of furniture, restore a table or create something personal for the home. The workshop offers individual and group courses in creative sewing, stencil work, salt dough, floral composition, table laying and wool felting. The lace-making school has beginner and advanced courses in bobbin lace, tatting lace, macramé, crochet and embroidery, while the sewing and knitting school offers beginner and advanced courses in pattern making, cutting and sewing up and in knitting.

Shop opening times: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9.30am to 12.30pm, Wednesday from 3.30pm to 7.00pm. During events, the gallery is open from 10.00am to 1.00pm and from 4.00pm to 10.00pm.
